We know that taking our documents with us everywhere is very important, so we can not forget them when crossing to the other country!

To pass to the country "brother" we must take into consideration that they are very rigid in the matter of documentation. Particularly if you are crossing the country with your own car or rented.
Documents you MUST use:
The RG (General Registration or Identity Card) is indispensable when crossing Argentina, regardless of whether you go by car, motorcycle, bus, or whatever you prefer to go there.
• Declaration for minors
If you want to take your son or nephew for a walk in Puerto Iguazu, you must have a signed statement by the two parents of the child and it must be authenticated at the Registry Office. And you have to carry the identity together!
• Green Card Insurance
The famous Green Card is a compulsory insurance to cross Mercosur customs, its goal is to protect visitors from traffic accidents. So it is very important!
The Passport in Mercosur is not necessary, but if for some reason you are only with your passport in hand, you can pass to Argentina without problems.
Note: the documents must be up to date and have a maximum of ten years.
Documents NOT ACCEPTED:
The CPF (Individual Register) is not accepted because it does not have a photo.
The CNH (National Driver's License) is always in doubt because sometimes some people can cross the bridge with this document and others are barred. So we advise you to take the RG.
The documentation in Paraguay is very quiet, because generally to enter or leave the country do not ask for documentation, only if you need to declare some merchandise in the Federal Revenue.
But it is very important to have the documents in hand to avoid any problem.
The RG (General Registration or Identity Card) is accepted to cross the border if you need to present any documents for inspection. Ideally, it should have a maximum of 10 years of document shipping.
