The Bird Park is one of the most popular tours in Foz do Iguaçu. The site was created in 1996 by the English couple of biologists Dennis and Anna Croukamp, and is now known as a themed attraction that enables visitors to enter into spacious nurseries, and closely monitor the lives of more than 900 birds of 150 species, many of them seriously threatened with extinction. The tour will give the tourist a direct contact with nature, where it will be possible to take a photo with the macaw on his arm, one of the symbols of the Bird Park, in the exclusive Backstage tour. The ride on the trail lasts approximately three hours, are fantastic moments and full of emotion. At the entrance visitors are welcomed by macaws, parrots and toucans. In each nursery there are plates with scientific name and regions of the planet where the birds are found there. The Bird Park is a great walk for those who love to admire nature.
