It was built in 1996 by Chinese communities of the triple border between Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina and leaves many visitors impressed its beauty, mainly the concrete replica of the famous Buddha sitting Mi La Pu-San, 7 meters high.
In addition to the Buddha, there are on average 120 statues representing each reincarnation of Buddha on earth and a main temple with more than two thousand square meters and two floors, where is located the House of the Master.
The Buddhist Temple is located in a high area, from where it is possible to have a panoramic view of the center of Foz do Iguaçu and also of Ciudad del Este in Paraguay.
Built in 1996, and today, in the temple gardens there are more than 120 statues, each with its meaning, being the highlights, a Buddha statue of 7 meters high, and a temple that creates a rather special environment for the place .
The walk takes place in a very quiet walk in an open place, with a privileged view of Foz do Iguaçu and Ciudad del Este, where you can enjoy the most of 120 statues, beautiful gardens, and the architecture of the main temple.
It is a good place to rest, in a more introspective moment of your trip. Being located far from the center, access can be done with a tourist agency.
Rates and Times
Entrance to the Temple is free. And the visitation takes place from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9h30 to 17h.
