The Brazilian landmark is located in the city of Foz do Iguaçu and was inaugurated in 20 in July of 1903. The obelisk symbolizes the Brazilian border with the colors of the country. From the place can be seen the Marco of Paraguay and Argentina with the colors of the respective countries.

The two rivers separate the three nations and the Argentine landmark is located on the banks of the Iguaçu River, while the Paraná River borders Brazil and Paraguay. In the symbology of the three obelisks, equilateral triangle shape, and these monuments indicate equality and respect between countries.
