In winter, with an average temperature of 18ºC, the chance of catching rainfall is lower, especially in the months of June, July and August, ideal to know the world-known Iguaçu Falls. The natural beauty belonging to Brazil and Argentina was rightly named one of the Seven Wonders of Nature.
In the surroundings, there are boat, helicopter and hiking trips, always with the Falls as a backdrop. Part of the reserve belongs to Argentina and it is worth crossing the border to discover the charms of the brothers side that has one of the most impressive jumps.
The neighboring country also hosts the most popular casino in the area, Casino Iguazú, with roulettes, slot machines, poker ... if luck is in favor, save some money to spend on shopping in Ciudad del Este, just after Friendship Bridge. Items such as perfumes and beverages are priced at prices and can be purchased in dollars or real.
Back in Foz, the tour is only complete with a visit to the Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant, with technical tour leading to the turbines. With so much water in the surroundings, the typical cuisine of the region could only be based on fish, enjoy and stop by the beautiful Terramar Restaurant;)
